Water daily for the first 2 weeks. Keep the soil moist but not flooded. Early morning is best.
Avoid walking on new sod for the first 2–3 weeks so the roots can take hold properly.
Wait until the grass is about 3 inches tall. Never cut more than ⅓ of the blade height.
Wait 3–4 weeks after installation before applying fertilizer. Use a starter fertilizer if recommended.
